Flower Support Staff

Hours: 15-20 hrs/wk

Rate: $18/hr

Desired Shift Availability:

Tues: 9:30AM-4PM

Weds: 6:30AM-1:00PM

Thurs: 7AM-1PM

CTFC Season runs April-December with some occasional early pre/post season work 

Responsibilities:

The CTFC Support Staff will handle a diverse set of responsibilities, these include but are not limited to:

Market & Receiving Responsibilities:

• Flower receiving 

• Register/Cashier duties

• Customer service and loading assistance 

• Market floor display 

• Bucket washing 

• General market upkeep and cleaning 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Strong customer service and communication skills 

• Flower variety knowledge desired but not required 

• Comfort with a fast-paced environment 

• Personal laptop available 

• Ability to lift 30lbs

Flower Delivery Driver

Compensation: $18-$20/hr plus gas reimbursement (use own vehicle)

Hours: Variable, expect between 7-12 depending on weekly orders. 
The Connecticut Flower Collective, a weekly wholesale local flower market, seeks a delivery driver to pick up and deliver orders on Wednesdays between late April and late November. Pickup is in Meriden, CT with a range of about 60 miles in any direction. Route is given on Monday for the week’s delivery. Must have your own reliable vehicle, a large capacity is preferred (van or SUV.) You must be friendly, organized, and punctual. This job includes moving heavy buckets of flowers into shops and studios and also a certain attention to detail to avoid damage in transit.

A typical schedule would be Wednesdays from 7:30AM-approx 2PM (at the latest) depending on routes for the corresponding week.
